PRESIDENT'S BLOG
By Ana Aquino-Pérez
Well, we are halfway through our program year and we have had some great
programs. If you have not have had a chance to attend any of them, you still can sign
up for the remainder of the programs we have on schedule.
Our March program will be our tri-chapter meeting on Tuesday, March 7, and will
focus on the latest developments in the law of e-discovery. It will be held at the
Holiday Inn in Fond du Lac. Bus transportation from Madison to Fond du Lac will
be available to our chapter members. Please contact Tim Hughes if you are
interested in riding the bus to the program.
Remember our upcoming spring seminar on April 6 at the Fluno Center in Madison,
"The Three-Legged Stool: Developing a Balanced Approach to Digital
Preservation." The detailed seminar brochure has been e-mailed to all of you and
additional, detailed information is being posted on the chapter's seminar Web Page.
Online registration is already available on the Web site, so you can start reserving
your place to attend this great event. Check the Web site often because we continue
to update it on a regular basis with last-minute information. We encourage you to
pass the word around within your organizations and to encourage your staff to come
along with you to take advantage of this great learning opportunity.
E-mail has been our main method of communicating with all of you; however, we
have had some of our messages bounce back from some of you. If you have not
heard from us lately, please send us your most current e-mail address and other
contact information so we can update our distribution list. We do not want you to
miss any of the information or opportunities that we pass along to you. You can e-
mail or send your information to Mary Boneck, our V.P. of Membership, or me.
You can find our e-mail addresses on our Web site at:

Finally, I want to encourage all of you to participate in the upcoming ARMA
International 2006 Board of Directors election. The election is now opened. You
have through March 27 to cast your vote for candidates in the following positions:
President-Elect (2006-07), Treasurer (2006-2008), Association Director (2006-09),
Canadian Director (2006-09), and International Director (2006-09). You should
have received your e-ballot directly from ARMA International. If not, please check
the ARMA Web site for additional information. It is your right to vote and your duty
to choose the leadership that will take the organization in the right direction. I
encourage you to participate!
