Fall is halfway over and winter is fast approaching at least it felt that way to me a
few days ago when the temperature dropped more than what I was ready for. It is
hard to believe how fast time is going by. I hope you had a chance to enjoy the
beautiful colors of fall.

I hope you had a chance to attend the ARMA International conference in Baltimore
or join us at one of our programs in the last couple of months. It seems like we just
started our program year, and we are just a program away from our holiday program.
All these have been wonderful educational opportunities for you. Our programs have
been well attended and have provided great information for you to take back and use
in your workplaces.

Don't forget to join us on Monday, November 5, for our tour of the Wisconsin
Department of Revenue. The department is moving forward toward a paperless
environment. The program presentation will provide the background behind
converting paper-based high volume processes using electronic submissions,
imaging, intelligent character recognition for data capture, and digitized document
retention. If your organization is envisioning more of an electronic environment for
your records and documents, you don't want to miss this presentation. For detailed
information on this program, you can contact Tim Hughes, our VP of Programs.

Please also check out the IMERGE/AIIM ERM certificate workshops that will be
offered in Madison the week of November 12. This is another opportunity to expand
your information management knowledge. For more information, please check our
ARMA-Madison Web site at:
http://www.armamadison.org/
.

It is never too early to start gathering items for our Holiday Charity Drive in
December. This is one more chance to bring a little cheer to those in need and make
their Holidays a little brighter. So start gathering things now. To continue our
tradition, we will be joining BFMA for our December program. This year the
program and charity drive will take place on Tuesday, December 11. Mark your
calendars.

We look forward to seeing you soon at our next event.
